Plastrac Inc. manufactures Disc-based metering and blending equipment and hopper loaders for plastics processing.

Loaders include both individual units and mini-central conveying systems. Blending and metering units include gravimetric self-calibrating color metering units, multi-ingredient blenders and volumetric color proportioning equipment. A modular design concept makes Auto-Disc™ units capable of fast material changes.

Models are available as machine mounted or floor mounted equipment. Micro-feeding units provide inherently consistent feeding characteristics and are being used in production to add less than 0.05% color per shot with micro-pellets and micro-beads. Auto-Disc™ meters at a synchronized rate without mechanical mixing which can cause particle separation.
